Changng Topic format to Project format
by Tetsuo Kimura - Friday, 13 February 2009, 08:16 AM

Hello Englishforum members,

I am using Project Format in two different servers and I really appreciate its convenience in moving parts of a course.  I have no trouble in using at one server but I have a trouble at the other.
When I changed the setting of a course from Topic format to Project format, the following error message was coming up to the front page of the course.

"Could not create titles. Project format database is not ready. Aceess admin notify."

The same thing happened even after I deleted the all contents in the course.  I do not have administration role to the server and the installation was done by my colleague.

Will someone give me a advice by posting a message here or meeting me at Moodle Genius Bar at Moodle Moot Hakodate?

Thank you again for the great efforts to develop this helpful tool.

Hi Tetsuo,

Glad you like the idea of the Project Course Format. It looks like your admin did not go to Notifications in the Admin area to auto-create the database tables. Tell him or her to do that.

Also please come to the hands-on workshop by Andy Johnson and I about the Project Course Format and Sharing Cart. It is at about 11:30 on Sunday.

Regards,
