How to accurately judge antecedent?
by Joe Clark - Wednesday, 13 September 2017, 07:44 PM

Hi,

The following sentence is sourced from the book named "C++ Primer".

We've marked those parts of the text that cover features defined by the new standard, with a marginal icon.

Which is antecedent noun? text? parts? parts of text?

Under the English rules of grammar, parts and text can be antecedent noun in this sentence.

Please Help.
Thanks !
I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
